It's time to start planning for your visit to our beautiful city!  We have many people who come from all over to camp in one of our beautiful parks.  Neosho river is easy access and a great area to fish and relax.  So come on and give us a visit and relax a while!!

Camping spots are $10.00 per night for R.V. and campers and tents are normally $2.00 per night.

Come on to Chetopa, Kansas and enjoy your stay!!

EVENTS

Spoonbill Season
    We have had several callers wanting information on Chetopa's Spoonbill Season.  It usually starts March 15 and runs through May 15.  Much is dependent on the water level of the river.  Go to Chetopa.org for more info.


Fourth of July in Chetopa!!

       For those who have never been to Chetopa on July 4 you need to make plans on coming this year. Chetopa has a day full of fun events located in Veterans and East River Parks. In the evening, at dusk, the sky is lit with a spectacular fireworks event right over Neosho River.  Come for a day and evening of fun for the family on Monday, July 4, 2016!!!
 

Chetopa City Wide
    Chetopa will have their yearly City wide rummage or yard sales on September 3, 2016.
If you would like to be put on the map call City Hall in August with your address and your planned time to start 620-236-7541 or 620-236-7511. Maps will be available at the convenience stores in Chetopa before the sale, (usually Friday). You will not need to obtain a permit in order to set up for the City wide.

Pecan Fest
 
    Mark your calendars for Chetopa's Pecan Fest on Saturday, November 19, 2016.   Most of the events will be located at 5th and Walnut at the school's gymnasium.  This is the same location of previous years activities.  Craft booths will be located inside the gymnasium and vendors will be located outside in the same area.  Activities will be held all day long. 
 

Christmas Parade will be announced at a later date.
