The Neosho River runs along the east side of Chetopa and is a retreat for many fisherman and campers.
We have two parks, East River Park, shown on the far side in the picture above, and Elmore Park. Both come with campsites and electrical hook-ups ready to meet the needs of campers and travelers needing a few days of rest and recreation.
For those needing a place to stretch their legs we have Veterans Park (pictured above). Veterans Park includes a swimming pool, play ground equipment, bathrooms, shelter houses with picnic benches and a community center.
